Place the pointer over each element in the diagram below for an explanation of the water treatment process.
Filter Filtering eliminates suspended particles.
Demineralizer/Anionic Column Extracts negatively charged dissolved salts (Cl-, SO4-2, etc). This is the second step of the demineralization process.
Demineralizer/Cationic Column Extracts positively charged dissolved salts (Na+, Al+3, etc), including heavy metals and the metals responsible for hard water. This is the first step of the demineralization process.
Ozonation This comprehensive sterilization process permits the neutralization of all biological contaminants (however rare at this stage of the water purification process) in order to deliver water that is not only mineral reduced but microbiologically safe. The company thus respects completely or exceeds the bottling norms of the M.A.P.A.Q.
Active Carbon Column Eliminates the free chlorine present in the drinking water supply. It also reduces a good portion of the organic matter dissolved in the water.
1 Micron Filter This filter captures all suspended particles greater than 1 micron ( one one-thousandth of a millimeter).
Demineralizer/Mixed Bed Polishing Permits the extraction of residual traces of ions in the water to give an even higher level of purity. This is the third step of the demineralization process.
